Support after your weight loss procedure:
groups and events

Proper support is a pillar of long-term weight loss and maintenance for bariatric patients—and it comes with community. The chance to talk and network with people who have been there and done that (and with professionals who have the resources to help) is a fantastic resource for anyone navigating life after a weight loss procedure.

Take a look at the groups and events on offer here at Tailor Clinics!

Facebook groups

Our Faceook groups provide chances to connect with other bariatric patients, share ideas, and hear from the experts. We highly recommend you join at least one of these and benefit from the community they provide!

The team sometimes holds Facebook live sessions on our public Tailor Clinics page—we plan these when we receive requests from our patients…so please let us know if you would like to hear from us. Questions are encouraged and will be answered wherever possible. Tailor Clinics staff and guest speakers share expertise, tips, and thoughts. We’d love to have you join us!

Our Facebook sessions are a fantastic resource, and are available not only to Tailor Clinics patients but to anyone, whether or not they have undergone weight loss procedures. They offer skills and advice for healthy living which are widely applicable.

Events

Our monthly Walk’n’Talks are an opportunity to meet up in person with other bariatric surgery patients and Tailor Clinics team members. Come along to get in some fun physical activity, make new friends, and share about your weight loss journey. These events usually end in coffee and chats.

Weight Management Workshops are another tool for your post-weight loss procedure toolbelt. This is truly a fabulous day to be educated, informed, supported, and motivated by both the experienced staff at Tailor Clinics and your fellow bariatric surgery recipients who love to encourage one another.

The workshops include expert guest speakers and are open to all, not just Tailor Clinics patients. Get in touch with the team to find out about the next one.

We do not heal in isolation, we heal in community!
